The Salerno family has been cooking fine Italian food in the Oundle area for over 20 years now. Gerardo Salerno learnt most of his skills through his mother Serafina, who was a renowed fantastic cook in her community of San Giorgio Del Sannio. The town of San Giorgio Del Sannio is located approximately one hour inland from Naples. Gerardo and his family imigrated to Peterborough, England in the early 60's. Gerardo set up his first restaurant in the early 90's called San Giorgio. Then, in 2015, he set up Salerno's restaurant wtih his son Stefan and daughter Gabriella, serving only the finest traditional food from homemade classic recipes.
